Detailed Work Items

See the Work Items & Checklist for the full list of discussion points and tasks the team needs to address.

Phase Definitions

Phase 1 — Analysis

Reverse-engineer the existing Scribe DTS files to fully understand the business logic, data transformations, cross-reference mappings, and error-handling patterns.

Phase 2 — Documentation

Produce detailed documentation of each migration flow, including field mappings, business rules, step-by-step workflows, and integration dependencies.

Phase 3 — New Implementation

Build the equivalent integration on the new platform, preserving all documented business logic and data transformation rules.

Phase 4 — Testing

Validate the new implementation against the documented behavior. Run UAT scenarios from DocsAndScripts/User_Acceptance_Tests_DynamicsGPtoDynamicsCRM.xls and reconciliation queries from DocsAndScripts/DataViewQueries/.

Phase 5 — Go-Live

Cut over to the new integration in production. Monitor health using reconciliation queries and confirm data parity between systems.
